Our Story

Holland Botanical is a small family business based in East Cobb.

Hello! I’m Janis and my husband Jonathan and I are the faces behind Holland Botanical. You’ll see our 2 sons helping out too! We’ve lived, worked and raised our family in East Cobb since 1998. Our sons attended Tritt/HTMS/Pope and they both played Pope football starting in second grade. I’ve taught both fitness and preschool in the area and Jonathan has owned and operated a landscaping business here since 1998. I’m sure you’ve seen us around!

We started this business model way back in 2013 with a weekly grab bag along with our mobile farmers markets. It was definitely the right idea at the wrong time! Our business took many different paths including a brick and mortar location, but the timing was never right.

With so many people choosing to stay home due to COVID-19, we saw a need in our community for fresh produce. We took a big leap and rebooted our business in May 2020 and we continue to grow and expand in new and exciting ways.

Our delivery business continues to thrive, so many people enjoy not only the convenience of delivery but they appreciate the value and variety. We are very grateful that we’re able to provide this service year round.

In the winter of 2025-26 we revisited an old plan- a mobile farmer’s market. With a lot of prayer, sweat equity, help from a friend and a little luck we were able to build out our mobile market in time for Memorial Day. You can find us every Saturday at Jackie’s Fine Wine & Spirits, 3140 Johnson Ferry Road in East Cobb. We are planning to add days in the future as the demand grows.

From very humble beginnings: Setting up in an empty parking lot in my minivan at the corner of Johnson Ferry and Roswell Rd in East Cobb. This was before Dick’s Sporting Goods was built!

Present day! We’re so excited with how our farmer’s market trailer turned out! We’re so excited to provide this service to the communities of East Cobb, Roswell and Woodstock. We’ll see you on Saturdays from 8:30-12:30 at Jackie’s, 3140 Johnson Ferry Road.
