Easy Green Smoothie

The temperatures have been so cold in Marietta, GA you can keep your smoothie cool outside!

Between the funky of forty thousand years everyone is coming down with and the down right frigid temperatures, I felt the need to get a good dose of nutrition in my body. Green smoothies are a go-to for me. Loaded vitamins, protein and fiber this smoothie has everything you need. Don’t let the spinach in the smoothie scare you; I promise you won’t taste it! The banana cancels out the green taste.

This recipe makes TWO smoothies. One for now, one for later or one to share. Or both if you’re hungry!

To your blender add:

16 oz unsweetened almond milk

1 ripe banana

1.5 large handfuls of spinach (about 2 cups)

8-10 fresh or frozen strawberries

1/2 avocado

2 scoops vanilla premier protein powder (any will do!)

Ice if you like it extra cold

Blend well and enjoy.
